Polruan Village Hall

The Marks and Spencer's Energy Fund Competition is now live.

Our Application for a Support Grant to fit a 6 Kva PV Array to the rear roof of Polruan Village Hall to provide reduced electricity costs all year round, benefitting all our Users and at the same time reducing the carbon footprint of the Hall, has been shortlisted and its success is now dependent on the amount of on-line voting support we can generate. This is the final part of our Hall Improvement Programme and full details of our refurbishment programme to date are on the website.
Voting is very straightforward, just log in to https://www.mandsenergyfund.com/projects/polruan-village-hall or click on the M & S Energy Fund button below and cast your vote in support. Voting is allowed from participants across the world, so please share this e-mail with family, friends, work colleagues and anyone else you can think of, wherever they are. Social networks are a vital part of maximising support, so please use your Facebook and Twitter accounts to spread the word!
The competition closes on October 20th, but we would ask you, please, to share this mail as soon as possible, as the quicker it is shared, the wider the possible support we can generate.

Available for private hire, please contact Kathryn Hill on (01726) 870953 for information and availability.

Located in the heart of the ancient fishing village of Polruan, with magnificent views from its large terrace area across the beautiful Fowey estuary to Fowey, and Pont Creek.

The Hall holds regular theatre club productions, coffee mornings, cream teas, an indoor shooting club, vintage fairs and art groups, a summer holiday club, weekly junior and senior ‘kids klubs’ and local primary school indoor group sessions.

Individual events are also hosted including birthday parties, wedding receptions, ballet practice and keep fit sessions.

The hall is fully insulated with a brand-new air source heat pump (ASHP) heating and air conditioning system, all of which provides excellent wet weather fall-back facilities for local clubs and organisations.

We have a licensed bar and full kitchen facilities, disabled and standard toilets, a raised stage, dimmable house lights, a music licence and a maximum capacity of 160 with generous parking for vehicles at St Saviour’s Car Park, a short walk from the Hall.
